Viscosity of Oil and Statistical Analysis
We measured the time it took for steel and teflon balls to fall through motor oils of different viscosities. Plotting time versus known viscosity allowed us to determine the viscosity of two unknown oils.
We combined the data from all twenty-four research teams so we could discuss and examine our results for accuracy and precision, determine whether outlying values could be ignored, and sources of error in the experiment.
